Iran to build 2,500-hectare greenhouse park

A greenhouse park will be built in a 2,500-hectare area in the Parsabad County of Iran’s north-western Ardabil Province, Trend reports referring to IRNA.
An agreement on the construction of the greenhouse park was signed by the governor of the Ardabil Province and the director of the Iranian Company of Agricultural Parks.
Akbar Behnamjou, governor of the Ardabil Province, said after the signing ceremony that 10,000 people will be employed with the implementation of this agreement.
According to him, the agreement envisages the production of 700,000 tons of export products worth $300 million for a duration of 3 years starting from the new Iranian year (March 21, 2019) and saving 420 million cubic meters of water.
Together with the neighboring Bileh Savar County, the Parsabad County of Iran’s Ardabil Province forms the main agricultural center of the province.
