The opening of the Azerbaijani pavilion in Bahrain is expected in March 2019, Executive Director of the Association for Azerbaijan-Arab Countries Cooperation (AACC) Yalchin Aliyev told Trend.
Aliyev noted that negotiations on the issue will be held next month during the visit of the Azerbaijani delegation to Bahrain.
As previously reported, the location of the showroom, as well as the list of goods that will be exhibited there, has already been determined. The list includes both foodstuff and industrial products.
Aliyev had earlier said that the future plans also include the opening of similar pavilions in Jordan and Lebanon.
According to the State Customs Committee, in 2018, the trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Bahrain exceeded $705,620. Exports of Azerbaijani products to Bahrain exceeded $330,630.
