A delegation of the Belarusian Minsk Automobile Plant (MAZ) headed by Deputy Director General for Commercial Affairs Gennady Skitov visited Turkmenistan on a working visit, Trend reports with reference to the Belarusian Embassy in Ashgabat.
Representatives of the biggest auto holding in Belarus held a series of talks with state and private structures of Turkmenistan on cooperation in the supply of trucks and spare parts. In particular, a meeting was held with Chairman of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UIET) Aleksandr Dadayev.
The parties expressed confidence that the constructive negotiations held would further develop mutually beneficial cooperation in the supply of MAZ equipment for the needs of the economy of Turkmenistan and ensure reliable service maintenance and prompt supply of spare parts, the report said.
It was earlier reported that from 2009 to 2017, more than 10,000 MAZ trucks were delivered to Turkmenistan.
