Iran’s Raja Passenger Train Company adds 77 railcars to its trains

Iran’s Raja Passenger Train Company has added 77 railcars to its trains during two years, said Mohammad Rajabi, the managing director of Raja Passenger Train Company (an associate of Islamic Republic of Iran Railways), Trend reports via IRIB.

He said that the number of new railcars bought over the past 27 months has reached 50 and has replenished the country’s rail network.

He added that the company has bought 27 used railcars in good condition, and 67 old railcars were repaired.

Iran’s Rasht-Qazvin railway was commissioned March 6.
