Gasoline production in Kazakhstan significantly up

Production of gasoline in Kazakhstan in January-February amounted to 647,600 tons, which is 20.8 percent more than in the same period of 2018, Trend reports via Kazakh media.

According to the Statistics Committee of Kazakhstan’s National Economy Ministry, in the reporting period kerosene was produced in the amount of 121,200 tons (2.6 times up year-on-year), liquefied propane and butane – 419,100 tons (7.9 percent up), gas oil – 709,900 tons (6.6 percent up), and fuel oil – 572,500 tons (9.1 percent down).

Also, 347,800 tons of ferroalloy (6.8 percent up year-on-year), 182,600 tons of flat-rolled products (62 percent down), and 21,000 tons of refined lead (17.6 percent down) were produced in the country in January-February.

In addition, zinc was produced in the amount of 52,000 tons (4 percent down) and production of refined copper totaled 74,000 tons (5.4 percent up).
