Iran is to develop agricultural, banking and railway cooperation with Azerbaijan.
Iranian Minister of Economic Affairs and Finances Farhad Dejpasand has discussed the possible cooperation with Azerbaijan in agriculture sector, food security, animal quarantine, greenhouse cultivation and agro-industry, Trend reports citing Mehr News Agency.
During a meeting with the Minister of Agriculture of Azerbaijan Inam Karimov, the Iranian official reviewed the cooperation in bank, insurance, financial sector and facilitating the banking affairs between the two countries.
Dejpasand has also discussed the completion of Rasht-Astara railway as part of the North South Transportation Corridor and talked about the necessity to increase the trade volume with Head of Azerbaijan Railways Javid Gurbanov.
Farhad Dejpasand arrived in Baku to attend the 13th joint Iran-Azerbaijan economic commission.
