About 2M tons of products transported via 2 terminals in Iranian province

Some 2.29 million tons of products have been transported via the Milak and Mirjaveh border terminals of Iran’s southeastern Sistan and Baluchestan Province during the 11 months of the current Iranian year (started March 21, 2018), Ali Khanghaei, Director General for Transportation and Road Management of Sistan and Baluchestan, told IRNA, Trend reports.

According to Khanghaei, 945,000 tons of products were exported through Milak border terminal to Afghanistan, and 618,000 tons of goods were exported to Pakistan via the Mirjaveh border terminal.

Khanghaei added that 615,000 tons of goods were transited via border terminals during this period.

The official said that the cargo was transported by 94,500 trucks in 11 months.

"52,800 trucks crossed the Milak border terminal and 41,600 trucks crossed the Mirjaveh border terminal," he said.

Milak customs point is located on the border with Afghanistan, in Hirmand County of Iran’s Sistan and Baluchestan Province, while the Mirjaveh customs point is located on the border with Pakistan, in Mirjaveh County of the province.
