Three cableways will be built in Bilecik province in northern Turkey, the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of Turkey told Trend March 18.
The cableways in the province will be built as part of the Vision 2023 government project.
The cableways will contribute to the development of tourism in the province.
“This project is at the stage of development and a corresponding tender will be announced,” the ministry said.
The longest cableway in Turkey is located in the province of Antalya. Its length is 4.3 kilometers.
The first cableway in Turkey was built in 1963 in the province of Bursa.
