Sugar production increases by 12 times in Azerbaijan

In January-February 2019, the total volume of food production in Azerbaijan amounted to 630.9 million manats, which is 23.2 percent more than in the same period of 2018, Trend reports referring to the State Statistical Committee of the country.

In January-February of this year, growth was recorded in the production of beverages - by 63.4 percent to 44.3 million manat, and but a decrease in tobacco products - by 32.1 percent to 7.04 million manats.

In total, the country's food, beverage and tobacco production was worth 682.3 million manats, having increased by 25.4 percent over a year.
