Iran imported products worth $38.5 billion during 11 months of the last Iranian year (started March 21, 2018), Trend reports with reference to the report of the Iranian Trade Development Organization.
More than 28 million tons of products were imported in 11 months, according to the report.
Top five imported products include forage corn worth $1.87 billion, rice worth $1.34 billion, spare parts worth $1.3 billion needed for production of a 2000cc engine car, soybeans worth $1.8 billion and surface electrodes worth $548 million.
This is while 31.5 million tons of products worth $44 billion were imported during the ten months of the previous Iranian year (started March 21, 2017).
