According to Isaeva, the Agriculture Ministry intends to increase the production of marbled meat in Kazakhstan.

"In accordance with the official strategy for the development of beef farming, it is planned to import one million cattle heads in the next 7 years, where one fifth will be highly productive breeding animals and purebred breeding animals," the vice minister said.

This year it is planned to import 70,000 cattle heads. Isayeva noted that meat of the highest quality will help strengthen the export potential of Kazakhstan.
