Russia, Azerbaijan to jointly open small enterprises in Azerbaijan

Women entrepreneurs of Azerbaijan and Russia are planning to implement a project involving the creation of joint ventures in the field of production, Sakina Babayeva, head of the Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Azerbaijan, told Trend.
According to her, the parties are planning to open food production facilities during the second half of 2019.
"Currently, the creation of small businesses is being actively discussed, and we expect to begin the practical implementation of a joint project in the summer of this year. Together with our Russian partners, we plan to open small enterprises in the regions of the country," Babayeva said.
The Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Azerbaijan was created with the support of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs of Azerbaijan and was established in October 2017.
Over 143,000 women are engaged in business in Azerbaijan, according to statistics.
