Uzbekistan and Austria have agreed to implement projects for the construction of plants for the production of metal structures, metal galvanizing and modern greenhouses for growing melon crops, Trend reports via Uzbek media.
Uzbek capital of Tashkent hosted a meeting of the Uzbek-Austrian intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation on April 9 where the sides agreed on implementation of joint projects.
The meeting of the intergovernmental commission was attended by heads of responsible ministries and departments, companies working in the economic, commercial, industrial, investment, scientific and educational spheres, in agriculture and water management, energy, light and chemical industries.
The sides discussed issues of increasing the volume of mutual trade and expanding trade, economic, scientific and technical, investment cooperation.
The business circles of the two countries discussed the implementation of joint investment projects in various sectors of the economy.
