By developing the existing potential, the trade turnover between Iran and Bangladesh can reach an annual rate of $1 billion, Reza Rahmani, Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade of Iran, said at the event dedicated to Independence Day of Bangladesh, Trend reports referring to Shata News Agency.
According to Rahmani, Iran has a rich economic potential. He added that the Iranian market and economy are important for businessmen world-wide. In his words, Iranian companies and their partners are also interested in cooperation with Bangladeshi companies and enterprises.
"In 2018, Iran produced local raw materials worth of $439 billion, although the country had reached a record of $598 billion in 2012," he said. The minister emphasized that the potential of the Iranian industry is aimed at increasing production in the country, so that the record amount can be reached again.
