Azerbaijani companies plan joint projects with Arab countries

Azerbaijani companies plan to implement joint projects with Arab countries, Yalchin Aliyev, Executive Director of Association for Azerbaijan-Arab Countries Cooperation (AACC), told Trend.

Aliyev said that the association carries out promotional activities in many Arab countries including Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, the UAE, Oman and Kuwait in cooperation with partner companies.

In his words, it is planned to arrange visits of Azerbaijani businessmen to Arab countries, and the dates of the visits are currently discussed. According to Aliyev, the business trips to Kuwait and Saudi Arabia will be arranged after the holy month of Ramadan (from May 5 to June 4, 2019).

The director noted that a joint project with a Kuwaiti company is expected to be implemented in the chemical industry. Negotiations about joint projects in construction and tourism are also underway with a Bahraini company, he said.
