Turkmenturba OJSC, a pipe plant in Turkmenistan, has established industrial production of polyethylene and polypropylene pipes with diameter of 20-500 millimeters, Trend reports with reference to Neytralni Turkmenistan newspaper.

Since the beginning of the year, 2,300 tons of pipes have been produced for various purposes. The raw materials come from the oil refinery in Turkmenbashi city and the gas chemical plant in Kiyanly settlement.

The polyethylene, polypropylene and fiberglass pipes have widely used for supply of drinking water and water for farms, gas supply, sewage networks, irrigation, rainwater and seawater drainage systems.

The company manufactures high density polyethylene pipes. According to the newspaper, the products are distinguished by the following features: absolute impermeability and inseparability in the connecting joints under pressure, various methods of connection, high chemical and corrosion resistance, and impact resistance.

In addition, the plant produces household items and fittings made from polypropylene and used for laying drip irrigation networks. Advanced production lines and high-quality raw materials of domestic production allow Turkmenturba to manufacture competitive products that meet international standards, the news article says.
