Drinking water plant to be built in Turkmen capital

A plant with capacity of 150,000 cubic meters of drinking water per day will be built in the Bagtyyarlyk district of Ashgabat, Trend reports referring to the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UIET).

Following the international tender announced by the Ministry of Construction and Architecture of Turkmenistan, the local company “Dost gurlushyk, sowda, onumchilik” won the tender.

All work is scheduled to be completed in 2021. The plant will be have equipment that provides a full cycle of gradual high-quality water purification from water intake to its supply to consumers - to enterprises and residential areas that are planned to be built in the north of the Turkmen capital.

The construction of such facilities is carried out as part of the General Program for the provision of clean drinking water to settlements of Turkmenistan.
