Uzbek Ambassador to Netherlands Dilyor Khakimov met with Managing Director of Ludvig Svensson company (Netherlands) Wouter de Jong, Trend reports with reference Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.

Ludvig Svensson was established in 1887 and specializes in the production of climatic materials based on textile raw materials.

Humidity, temperature and UV radiation are effectively controlled and energy is saved in the greenhouse complexes thanks to the company's functional climate screens.

During the meeting, issues of enhancing cooperation between Ludvig Svensson with Uzbek partners and expanding the company's activities in Uzbek market through joint ventures were discussed.

Wouter de Jong noted that Uzbekistan’s plans to expand greenhouse areas represent a good opportunity for Dutch producers to expand their presence in the Uzbek market.

The parties also drew attention to the possibility of combining owners and producers of greenhouse complexes under the auspices of one organization, which could become the main channel and source for creating a kind of network where both technology suppliers and consumers will participate.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed on the visit of the Dutch company to Uzbekistan in June 2019.

Moreover, agreements on studying the issue of creating a joint venture with the participation of the Uzbek partner (preferably from Namangan region) and on the joint study of the issue of creating the Association of owners and manufacturers of greenhouse complexes in Uzbekistan were reached.
