More factories to be build in Kazakhstan's Turkistan region

A number of projects are to be realized in Tole Bi district of Kazakhstan’s Turkistan region within the framework of the Business Road Map 2020 program, Trend reports via Kazakh media.

"The launch of Birlik asphalt plant with manufacture volume of 100 tons a day is among the projects," reads the message.

"The project itself is to cost 120 million tenge. Some 20 people will be employed. Furthermore, a Shymkent kus poultry factory that is to manufacture a thousand ton of broiler meat a year is to be launched by 2020. The project realization is estimated to cost 120 million tenge," the reports said.

The total number of business enterprises in the Tole Bi districts equals 8,211 with 92.4 percent of them actively working. Number of people employed in the entrepreneurship amounted to 16,072 with 675 more people being provided with jobs.

This year the volume of manufactured goods by the entrepreneurship reached 40.5 billion tenge. A number of those employed in the entrepreneurship is to be raised to 16,475 people.

"The goods manufactured by agribusinesses of Tole Bi district are exported to the near and distant countries. Thus, in 2018 Gazpromneft - Bitum Kazakhstan manufactured some 230,000 tons of bitum 148,000 tons of which were exported to Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, whereas Astyk Sauda and Akkum-Astyk companies exported flour goods worth 36,300 tons," the statement said.
