Baku Textile Factory plans to create a new line for the production of fabrics for men's underwear, Sakina Babayeva, the factory's director, told Trend.
The director noted that the commissioning of the new production line is planned for next year.
"We plan to implement this project during the first half of 2020. Our products will be manufactured under the brand 'Made in Azerbaijan' and exported abroad," Babayeva said.
She noted that currently, there are already certain agreements with partners in the UAE on the export of this type of product. "We plan to establish exports of the new product range to this Arab country after the production line is fully operational," she added.
According to Babayeva, there are seven production lines operating in the textile factory, which function in a continuous mode. The factory employs a total of 300 people.
