Some 15 new projects are to be realized in the industrial park in Kazakhstan, Trend reports citing KazInform.
Ardak Dossanov, the Chariman of the Board of Astana Hub Technopark Special Economic Zone (SEZ), made the statement at the World Customs Organization regional forum session on Special Economic Zones held in Nur-sultan (former Astana).
“Overall, in the industrial park №1, 49 projects were put into service, five objects are at the stage of construction and design, whereas 10 projects are at the stage of land processing,” said Ardak Dossanov.
“The largest number of projects is being realized in such spheres as construction industry - 23 projects, engineering - 10 projects, and petrochemicals - 10 projects,” he said.
“Some 12 projects of the industrial park are operating with foreign participation. The annual volume of goods manufacture by the residents of the park has displayed the steady increase over the duration of the work. In 2018 it has amounted to 345 billion tenge. The practice has shown that Astana – New City SEZ has significantly contributed to the development of Nur-Sultan,” noted Ardak Dossanov.
