In January-March 2019, the volume of meat production in Kazakhstan amounted to 90,804 tons, which is 5.7 percent more than in the same period of last year, Trend reports referring to Committee of Statistics of Kazakhstan.
In the reporting period, the volume of milk production equaled to 182,046 tons, which indicates an increase by 0.8 percent compared to the same period of last year.
Furthermore, the volume of flour production increased by 3.8 percent compared to the volume of January-March 2018 and amounted to 1,300,057 tons.
During the reporting period, the volume of sugar manufacturing amounted to 72,199 tons (-51 percent) and the volume of cereal manufacturing equaled to 28,104 tons (+9.4 percent).
