Azerbaijan’s company METAK, the manufacturer of plastic containers for fruit storage, plans to increase production by 15-20 percent, a representative of the company Eyyub Guluzade told Trend.
He said that dozens of production lines are involved in METAK, and the packaging of fruit products has been established.
“Our company purchased the newest unit for the manufacture of containers provided for the storage of fruits, thus, up to 330 kilograms of apples can be placed in one container, which in turn is very convenient for storing and transporting goods,” he noted.
The two main production bases of the company are located in Baku and Sumgait, where eight workshops are involved.
The METAK company is also engaged in the production of agricultural tools for intensive gardening.
