The products of the fertilizer production plant recently built in Azerbaijan by the Turkish company AzAgromila will be sold not only in the domestic market, but also in the foreign markets, a member of the company’s board Semiy Ceylan told Trend.

He said that the company currently is engaged in talks regarding supplies to Georgia.

“We envisage primary deliveries to the markets of neighboring countries, taking into account the convenience of transportation and logistics,” he noted. “There is a demand for our products in the Georgian market, so we plan to decide on the export volumes to the Georgian market before the end of this year. The plant has started operating just recently; presently, we are actively developing the production process, while working on establishing contacts with potential partners abroad.”

The new plant recently launched into operation is located in Azerbaijan’s Hajigabul district. It has the entire production and technological process, which is used at a Turkish plant of a similar type.

Organic fertilizers produced at the Hajigabul plant are intended for use in the cultivation of fruit and vegetable products in the regions, including those in the greenhouse conditions.

Semiy Ceylan added that this practice is widely used in Turkey.
