The fertilizer production plant, built by the Turkish company AzAgromila in Azerbaijan, will expand its export geography, member of the company's board Semiy Ceylan told Trend on May 29.

He said that the company is considering exports to the Central Asian market.

“The company plans to arrange the supply of fertilizers to Uzbekistan, where there is demand for our products,” he noted. “This direction is interesting for us, so we plan to work out all the issues concerning export plans to the Central Asian market. Deliveries can begin no earlier than next year; however, by this period we plan to resolve all issues and discuss the details of cooperation with Uzbek partners.”

The new plant recently launched into operation is located in Azerbaijan’s Hajigabul district. It has the entire production and technological process, which is used at a Turkish plant of a similar type.

Organic fertilizers produced at the Hajigabul plant are intended for use in the cultivation of fruit and vegetable products in the regions, including those in the greenhouse conditions.

Semiy Ceylan noted that similar products manufactured at the Turkish plant are sold in the Turkish market and supplied to many European countries.
