Construction of poultry plant worth over $7M underway in Kazakhstan

The construction of a poultry farm worth nearly three billion tenge ($7.8 million) continues in Kazakhstan’s Mangystau region, Trend reports referring to channel of Kazakhstan Khabar 24.

“The farm is being constructed in Tupkaragan district of the Mangystau region and its output capacity is to be 5,000 tons of poultry meat a year. It is estimated that the manufactured volume of the farm will cover 50 percent of demand on the local market of the region,” the report says.

“The area of the construction equals to 50 hectares. The building and installation work is finished by 85 percent,” reads the message.

“Currently, 12 chicken coops were already constructed. Up to 40,000 birds are to be kept in each coop,” the statement says.

Furthermore, it is planned that the farm will consist of four areas including incubator, feedstuff manufacturing workshop, killing floor and broiler breeding building.
