Kazakhstan manufactured 12 percent of the total volume of manufactured cement by countries of Eurasian Economic Union during 1Q2019, Trend reports with reference to the press office of Eurasian economic commission.
“First quarter is considered to be the period with lowest indicators due to seasonal nature of the product. The total volume of the manufactured cement during reporting period amounted to 12.03 million tons, which is on average accounts for 16-19 percent of the annual volume,” the report said.
“The major part of the manufactured volume or 77.5 percent accounts for Russia. It is followed by Kazakhstan with manufactured volume of 12 percent,” the statement said.
Furthermore, some seven percent account for cement manufactured in Belarus and three percent account for Kyrgyzstan.
“The increase of cement consumption of the Union’s market is estimated to be 2.5 percent in 2019,” the press office said.
The Eurasian economic commission monitors the state of cement market due to it being considered a priority for industrial cooperation.
