Financial services brought 12.292 trillion soums, while communication and information services brought 3.849 trillion soums.
The sphere of education which gave 2.384 trillion soums to the country closes the top five.
Compared to the same period last year, of the listed areas, the highest growth rates were shown by the financial sector (159.5 percent) and the education sector (121 percent).
The growth rates of communication and information services amounted to 107.8 percent, transport - 104.8 percent, and trade - 104.1 percent.
Experts explain such growth by the influence of several factors at once. For example, online commerce is actively developing, and educational organizations provide new types of services, including online. In addition, the stability of the banking system increases.
Furthermore, there is a growing demand for cargo and passenger transportation services, due to the development of tourism activities, the expansion of the trading network and the implementation of construction projects.
In general, the services sector is one of the fastest growing sectors of the economy of Uzbekistan. Due to the increase in their quality and diversity, the time taken to complete many labor-intensive tasks is reduced, and citizens have more free time.
