Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan company Dadli Nakhchivan mehsullari, which produces and sells dried fruits, eyes to export raisins, founder of the company Emin Tarverdiyev told Trend.

“The products are planned to be exported to Montenegro soon,” he said.

"We are negotiating with our potential customers in Montenegro,” Tarverdiyev said. “We expect to start to export these products till late 2019. The retail price of raisins is 12 manats per kilogram in the domestic market. In case of export, the price will be higher, taking into account transportation and other expenses."

“In the coming months, the meetings are planned to be held with Montenegrin partners both in Montenegro and in Baku to discuss all export-related details,” he added.

"Besides raisins, our company eyes to further export other types of products, including mulberry, doshab (grape syrup) and wines," Tarverdiyev said.

“The customers in Russia and the United Arab Emirates are also interested in the company’s products,” he noted.

“We intend to export raisins to Russia’s St. Petersburg city, so soon we plan to start the negotiations with the Russian customers,” Tarverdiyev said. “At the same time, we are waiting for an order from the United Arab Emirates. We expect to thoroughly discuss the supply volumes and financial issues with partners in this country till late 2019.”

He stressed that the company also plans to expand its production capacity.
