Representatives of the Indian company in the field of seed production Kalash Seeds discussed attracting investment and creating seed clusters in Uzbekistan, Trend reports via Uzbek media.
This issue was considered at the meeting of Minister of Innovation Development of Uzbekistan Ibrohim Abdurahmonov with the company delegation, which was held at the Ministry. The parties also discussed the prospects for mutual cooperation, plans for the future and work performed.
Kalash Seeds Pvt. Ltd is a research and development company engaged in seed research for over 35 years. The company is also the leading producer of vegetable seeds in India, which grows crops such as pepper, eggplant, watermelon, onion, tomato, and pumpkin. The company has research centers, laboratories for marker technology and molecular biology, as well as an ISTA (International Seed Testing Association) laboratory.
After the meeting, the guests visited Andijan region to study the area for projects implementation.
