Uzbekistan Airways has commissioned the fifth Boeing 787 Dreamliner, Trend reports with reference to the press service of the company.
The airliner arrived from the factory in Tashkent on July 2, received a registration number UK78705 and it made the first flight to St. Petersburg, Russia on July 5.
The aircraft is designed to carry 246 passengers. There are 24 seats in business class and 222 seats in economy class.
Earlier it was reported that until the end of the year, Uzbekistan Airways will turn into a hybrid airline.
It will continue to fly in some areas with business and economy classes, and only economy class in other areas, which will allow taking the maximum number of passengers with a minimum number of services.
Another advantage of this innovation is the minimum cost of a flight ticket.
