Russian company plans to expand range of products for Azerbaijan (Exclusive)

In 2019, the Russian company PhosAgro plans to significantly expand the range of products for Azerbaijan through supply of complex phosphorus-containing fertilizers, General Director of PhosAgro-Region LLC Andrei Vovk told Trend in an interview.

“PhosAgro-Region” began working with Azerbaijani agrarians in 2016. Especially for Azerbaijan, the production complex of the PhosAgro Group manufactures packaging products in bags of 50 kg each.

Vovk said that using the extensive experience of direct sales of PhosAgro-Region in Russia, the company managed to establish cooperation with a number of major Azerbaijani partners, work out logistics and create a competitive range that meets the plans for the development of the agricultural sector of Azerbaijan.

“With the support of the Ministry of Agriculture of Azerbaijan, the processes of registering new brands of complex fertilizers PhosAgro are successfully continuing, ” Vovk said.

Earlier, Trend reported on the plans of Uzbekistan in establishing cooperation with Phosagro.

PhosAgro is a Russian vertically integrated company, one of the world's leading manufacturers of phosphorus-containing fertilizers. The company is one of the most technologically advanced phosphate fertilizer producers in the world and one of the few companies producing high-quality apatite concentrate.

By the end of 2018, the company increased the production of fertilizers and feed phosphates by 7.6 percent - up to 9 million tons, sales increased by 9 percent to 8.8 million tons. The products manufactured by the company are in demand in 100 countries of the world, including the priority markets of Russia and the CIS, and the key markets of Europe and Latin America.
