The project on manufacturing of aluminum products, which aims at import substitution, is to be launched in Kazakhstan’s Almaty region, Trend reports with reference to Kazakh media.
“Malaya Metallurgiya RK LLP is to put into operation the plant on manufacturing of aluminum powders, pastes and dusts in the Almaty region. The project will be realized on the territory of Kairat industrial zone,” the report said.
“The cost of the construction is 643 million tenge. The annual capacity of the plant is to be 200 tons of Aluminum powder APV, 60 tons of powder aluminum PA2, 20 tons of PAP-1,2 aluminum powder and 20 tons of aluminum paste,” the statement said.
The importance of the project lies in the fact that there is no such manufacturing in Kazakhstan. Import from Russia and China supplies 100 percent of the demand of the local market of Kazakhstan.
