The Azerbaijani company “Sab”, which is engaged in manufacturing of meat and dairy products, is planning to open a new line for the production of sausage-flavored potato chips, the company told Trend.
According to the source, the company plans to begin the production of this type of product in autumn of 2019.
"The new product may appear in the domestic market closer to the end of this year. Products are intended both for sale domestically and for export. A variety of sausages will be used in the production process," according to the company.
It was also noted that the company currently exports sausage products to Russia, Georgia and Turkey.
"We are planning to expand the geography of exports by the end of this year, and supply products to eastern markets. Today, the "Sab" company produces 60 types of meat products, about half of which are intended for export," the company said.
The company’s production plant is located in the city of Khirdalan near Baku.
