In May this year, the trade turnover between Turkey and Georgia grew by $16.816 million compared to May 2018 and amounted to $162.619 million, Trend reports referring to Turkey's Ministry of Trade.
In May 2019, Turkey's exports to Georgia amounted to $130.354 million, while imports from Georgia equaled to $32.265 million.
In January-May 2019, the trade turnover between Turkey and Georgia decreased by $14.3 million and amounted to $669.016 million. During the reported period, Turkey's exports to Georgia amounted to $537.994 million, while imports from Georgia reached $131.022 million.
In 2019, the trade turnover between Turkey and Georgia amounted to $1.548 billion.
The total turnover of Turkey in May 2019 amounted to $34.633 billion. During the reporting period, Turkey’s exports increased by 0.5 percent compared to May 2018, and amounted to $16.334 billion. In May 2019, imports to Turkey decreased by 17.81 percent compared to May 2018, and amounted to $18.299 billion.
