By Fakhri Vakilov - Trend:

Uzbek company Imagine LLC will supply 800 Isuzu buses to transport oil workers of Turkmenistan, Trend reports citing Uzbek media.

The company agreed on deliveries at the First Caspian Economic Forum, which was held in the Avaza resort area in Turkmenistan on August 11-12. A large delegation of Uzbekistan led by Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov took part in the event.

“As a result of successful negotiations with Turkmen partners, an agreement was reached on the supply of Isuzu buses produced by the Samarkand Automobile Plant for the oil and gas sector of Turkmenistan in the amount of about 800 units,” Director General of Imagine LLC Fakhriddin Bakiyev said.

He added that the buses are intended for the transportation of employees of the oil and gas sector, working on a rotational basis.

Imagine LLC was founded in 2012. Today it is an official dealer of SamAuto LLC. The company offers the entire series of Isuzu vehicles manufactured in Uzbekistann along with original spare parts for purchase by individuals and legal entities.

Uzbekistan is not a Caspian state, but nonetheless showed interest in the forum.

As reported, this is understandable because Uzbekistan is interested in the seaport in Turkmenbashi, which allows establishing logistics in the Caspian countries themselves, as well as getting access to the ports of the Indian Ocean and the Gulf countries.

Moreover, the forum has become an excellent platform for the presentation of domestic automobile industry products and forging business relations with interested partners in these countries.
