Online services grow more popular by over 10% in Kazakhstan

The value of online postal and financial services in Kazakhstan amounted to 4.281 billion tenge during first seven months of 2019, which is 12 percent more compared to the same period of last year, Trend reports with reference to the press office of Kazpost.

“Gradual switch from receiving services in post offices to ordering them and paying for them via service portal or mobile application is a trend that has been observed for the last couple of years,” said the Head of the Press Office of Kazpost Dilara Zarlykova.

“The most popular online services are calling the courier to your door, change of the delivery address, redirection of the parcel to automatic post stations and services of hybrid electronic mail,” the report said.

“Among the finance online operations the most popular are money transfer, transfer from card to card or to cash,” the statement said.

Online services are most popular in cities such as Nur-Sultan, Almaty, Shymkent, Karaganda, Taraz and Zhezqazghan, the press office said.

Post.kz service portal and mobile app is a full-fledged online office of the post. It allows to order and pay for some 30 types of services. Total number of users registered here is 712,910 people. All services are available in personal account, which makes the process of receiving services much easier.
