Azerbaijan’s Kercom to establish export of beekeeping products to South Korea

The Azerbaijani beekeeping company Kercom plans to expand the geography of export of its products, the company told Trend.

According to the source, the company is considering exports to South Korea.

"To date, the company has established honey exports to Saudi Arabia, and we are also intending to arrange deliveries to Japan and South Korea. We are currently actively looking for buyers in these countries. The company produces 25 tons of beekeeping products annually and intends to increase production volumes by the end of the year," the company said.

"Honey comprises up to 8-10 tons of the total production, the rest consisting of royal jelly, propolis, pollen and other varieties of products. At the same time, the retail price of one kilogram of honey in the domestic market stands at 30-35 manats," the company said, noting that beekeeping products are in demand in all seasons except summer.

Kercom has been operating in Azerbaijan since 2015.
