In January-July 2019, Uzbekistan manufactured more than 147,650 cars, which is 49.6 percent higher compared to the same period in 2018, Trend reports with reference to State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan.
The committee reports that the manufacture of trucks increased by 55.1 percent up to 2985 unit in the reporting period.
In the first half of 2019, Uzbekistan produced 1,095 buses, which is 3.6 times more compared to the same period in 2018.
The manufacture of automobile engines in Uzbekistan in January-July 2019 amounted to 114,560, with a growth of 62.4 percent compared to January-July 2018.
In the reporting period, the volume of tractor production amounted to 797 units, which is 66.9 percent less compared to the same period in 2018.
