Iran's non-oil exports via borders of its Hormozgan province up

In the first four months of the current Iranian year (started March 21, 2019), exports of non-oil products via borders of Iran's Hormozgan province increased by 80 percent, compared to the same period of the previous Iranian year, Deputy Chairman of Hormozgan Industry, Mine and Trade Organization Mohammad Abbasi said, Trend reports referring to the organization's website.

During the reported period, non-oil products worth $5.83 billion were exported through the border of the province, Abbasi said.

He added that main export items were iron ore, ethylene polymers, bitumen and various fertilizers.

Main export destinations were China, the UAE, Thailand, India, Oman and Ghana, he said.

The value of non-oil exports via Hormozgan's border is expected to reach $12.5 billion by the end of the current Iranian year, Abbasi added.
