Azerbaijani bread producer, Brot Baku company, conducted a survey among the population regarding quality and demand of bread, Nigar Abdullayeva, technologist of the company, told Trend on Aug. 26.
“The company is currently closely exploring the needs in this market segment,” she said.
"Presently, our products are designed for a certain percentage of the population, but we expect to continue to meet the needs of a bigger number of citizens,” Abdullayeva added. “According to the latest survey held in Baku, among all types of bread of our company, people gave the preference to Borodino bread, and then to Kandli and Zadagan bread.”
“Based on monitoring results, the company plans to increase daily production volumes,” she said. “Some 700 loaves of bread were baked daily at the enterprise up till now. Since the beginning of autumn season, this figure will gradually increase up to 750-800 loaves."
Abdullayeva stressed that the company will consistently increase the production volumes, focusing on the demand of the population.
“There is a big number of manufacturers and brands in this market segment,” she said. “In turn, we are aimed at improving quality, which is as important as the availability of a large customer base,” she added.
