Russia’s Research and Production Corporation United Wagon Company and Texol company, which is the owner of freight wagon fleet in Kazakhstan, have signed an agreement for supply of tank wagons for transport of liquefied petroleum gas, Trend reports with reference to the RUPEC analytics center.

At the beginning of this year, the Kazakh train operator in question has already purchased 400 tank wagons. Within the framework of the latest agreement, 400 wagons will be supplied to Kazakhstan before 1Q2021, thus increasing the existing number of wagons in possession to 800 units.

“We see consistent demand for transport of liquefied petroleum gas both on internal and external routes of significant distance. In order to meet the demand, we need a modern rolling stock, which will be able to provide us with high efficiency transport,” Member of the Board of Directors of TexolTrans Sergei Gorsky said.

The 15-9541-01 model of the tank wagon for transport of liquefied petroleum gas is different due to its increased carrying capacity of 90 tons.

Texol Group is one of the largest private railways operator of Kazakhstan, which specializes on the transport of liquefied petroleum gas.
