Goychay Sud OJSC, a dairy and fruit juices producer in Azerbaijan, has begun construction of a new cheese production factory, the company told Trend.
According to the source, such a decision was made by the company’s management due to the large demand in the domestic market for this type of dairy product.
"We plan to double the production of cheese by opening a new factory. The company has produced over 90 tons of cheese since the beginning of the year. We expect to increase this figure to 180 tons. We plan to further expand the production line of dairy products in accordance with the demand," the company said.
It was noted that the volume of dairy production at the enterprise amounted to over 790 tons over the 7 months of 2019.
“During this period, dairy products worth 36,267 manats were sold. The products are sold in the domestic market,” the source said.
The company is operating at full capacity and is using modern Swiss and Italian equipment.
