Uzbek company Artel concluded a deal on the production of gas stoves with the US company TMK Technics Corp, Trend reports citing IA Gazeta.Uz.
It is planned that new gas stoves will be exported to the US.
Today, Artel produces more than 20 types of household appliances, which are distributed not only in the domestic market, but are also actively exported abroad.
The company’s products are exported to Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan and Georgia.
Partnership with the US company may make Artel one of the first to export its products overseas.
Being the largest manufacturer of household appliances in Central Asia and having experience of cooperation with such a large international company as Samsung, Uzbek company has every chance to successfully enter the US market.
Entering Western markets can positively affect not only Artel itself, but also the export position of Uzbekistan as a whole.
