The first unit of a solar panel plant of Water and Wastewater Company has been commissioned in Iran’s Kermanshah province, said Alireza Takhtshahi, managing director of Kermanshah Province's Water and Wastewater Company, Trend reports citing IRNA.
He said that 1.55 billion rials (about $36,900) have been spent on the construction of the solar panel plant.
He added that 49 panels with 325 watts can produce 16 kilowatts of electricity daily.
“It is possible to increase the plant’s output up to 50-80 kilowatts,” he noted.
