Prices on precious metals up by nearly 20% in Kazakhstan

The prices of industrial goods manufacturers increased by 3.1 percent during first eight months of 2019 compared to December 2018, Trend reports with reference to the data of Committee of Statistics of Kazakhstan.

The increase of prices was observed in mining industry (3.5 percent), processing industry (4.1 percent). The industrial production prices increased by 3.3 percent, whereas the services of industrial nature increased by 0.8 percent.

Increase of pricing is observed on precious metals by 19.4 percent, on ferrous metals rolling by 6.1 percent, of ferroalloys by 2.4 percent. In turn, the decrease of pricing is observed on zinc by 3.9 percent, of aluminum by 2.5 percent, of copper by 0.3 percent.

Thus, the price of coal has increased by 10.1 percent, of metal ores by 5.3 percent, of oil by 3.5 percent, of natural gas by 1.6 percent, of diesel fuel by one percent. In turn, the cost of petrol decreased by 9.1 percent, and liquefied propane and butane decreased by 1.2 percent.

The increase of prices in furthermore observed on rye flour by 23.8 percent, on wheat flour by 14.9 percent, on rice by 18.3 percent, on cereal by 12 percent, on noodles by 10.2 percent, of livestock meat by 8.6 percent, of poultry meat by 1.2 percent, of bread by 6.1 percent, of tea by 3.4 percent, of milk products by 3.2 percent, of vegetable oil by 2.6 percent.

In turn, the decrease of pricing is observed on sugar by 0.3 percent.
