Azerbaijan’s Khirdalan Steel Construction Plant, owned by Akkord production and construction company, plans to increase production volumes next year, the company told Trend.
According to the source, the annual production of the plant currently stands at 3,600 tons of metal.
"It is planned to increase these volumes to 3,900-4,000 tons, by opening new production lines. This process will begin before the end of this year, and envisages the installation of lathes designed to handle steel billets," the company said.
According to the company, metal parts are currently being produced for cement plants, with several types of induction furnaces with a capacity of one and two tons installed and cold rolled machines commissioned.
"In addition, the enterprise produces auxiliary structures for metal casting, heat treatment furnaces, equipment for hot sand cooling, and other products," the company noted.
