Azerbaijani biscuit factory developing new varieties of bakery products

The Lazzat Gida biscuit factory, based in Azerbaijan's Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, is developing a new variety of products, a source at the factory told Trend.

According to the source, the company is expanding the range of cookies.

"The development of new varieties of this type of bakery products will be completed in the near future. New types of cookies with fruit filling will be produced. Products are sold on the domestic market, but we are considering exports to neighboring countries in the future. Currently, the daily production of the enterprise is over 16 tons of cookies, and we plan to increase these volumes to 18-19 tons," the source said.

The company's products have a certificate of conformity issued by the State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Patents of Azerbaijan.

The factory has installed modern equipment of Turkish production.
