Investments in Arvand Trade Free Zone in Iran’s Khuzestan province increased by 60 percent over the five months (March 21-August 22) of this Iranian year (started March 21, 2019) compared to the same period last year, said Ali Mousavi, deputy managing director of the free trade zone, Trend reports referring to IRNA.
He said that 4.26 trillion rials (about $101 million) have been invested during this period.
He added that investments were made in the industry, services, tourism and trade sectors.
“Last Iranian year (March 21, 2018 - March 21, 2019), 2.65 trillion rials (about $63 million) were invested in this trade zone,” he said.
