The design phase of the power plant in Kutaisi has been completed, and the Georgian industrial group AiGroup will soon proceed to the construction phase, Trend reports with reference to Georgian company Aicar.
Construction is scheduled to begin by the end of September.
Sustainable development of the green economy in Georgia is the number one challenge for Aigroup. Along with the production of electric vehicles, Aigroup develops the production of electricity using solar panels, the sharing of electric vehicles and the restoration of the infrastructure of power plants.
In the coming years, the company plans to introduce Georgian electric vehicles to European strategic markets.
Aienergi company is engaged in developing the infrastructure of power plants throughout Georgia. Without such development, it is impossible to expand the electric car market, said the company.
Currently, power plants are installed in Tbilisi and Batumi. By the end of the year, 300 power plants will be put into operation, which will provide flexibility and convenience of usage of electric vehicles.
Aicar company provides electric vehicle sharing service and has been operating in Tbilisi since April 2019. In the near future, the company will expand its activities in Kutaisi, Rustavi and Telavi.
